His poetry has appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies, including Good Poems for Hard Times and The Best American Poetry. He is the recipient of an NEA Poetry Fellowship and is poet-in-residence at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Nick Admussen was born in St. Louis, Missouri and has lived in Nanjing, Dalian, Los Angeles, and New Jersey, where he now resides. A Pushcart nominee in 2011, he is currently finishing a full-length manuscript.
